Responsibilities:Candidates will provide project management and civil engineering design services on a wide range of projects in support of the firm's land development and/or aviation practices. Candidates must be able to provide civil engineering design for many different types of projects that may include roadway and highway design, aviation and airfield design, site and facility design, stormwater drainage and stormwater management design, and utility design. In addition to design responsibilities, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to manage engineering and planning projects in addition to managing personnel, budgets, schedules, subconsultants, and all necessary client interaction.

Job Requirements: Candidate must have a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or equivalent from an ABET/EAC accredited program. Qualified candidates must have a PE with a minimum of 5 years of experience in civil engineering design and a minimum of 3 years project management experience. Additional requirements include the design of civil engineering projects in New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, or Pennsylvania, and previous experience managing client and public interaction, including running project meetings and attending public meetings. Previous experience in land development, aviation, and facility design and project management, or experience coordinating projects with multiple stakeholders is desired.

Candidates must have experience with AutoCAD and/or Microstation and associated CADD design software (Civil 3D, Inroads, etc.). Candidates shall also have good written and verbal communication skills and be able to work independently. The position may require travel in the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast Region.
