School/Center Overview

The Division of Finance is responsible for an array of centralized financial functions of the University. Our various departments are responsible for administrative services that support financial accounting and disbursement activities, research administration, external and internal investments, cash and debt management, risk management and student registration and financial aid.



Duties

The Cash Manager has responsibility for cash management, overseeing the University's commercial banking relationships, sophisticated receipt and disbursement services, and growing international banking activity. The Cash Manager oversees daily cash positioning and general ledger posting, supervises one cash management staff member and the Cashier's Office. Additionally, the Cash Manager administers the University's mortgage program for high level select recruitments.



Qualifications

A Bachelor's Degree with a major in accounting, finance or Business Admin and 3 years to 5 years of experience in cash management, banking or accounting, or equivalent combination of education and experience, are required. 5 years to 7 years of experience strongly preferred. CTP certification desirable. Must be proficient with Microsoft Excel.
